André Batista

Ph.D. canditate at Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering, Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (Brazil).

Graduated in Systems Engineering (2019/1) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, with participation in the GS/CSF Science Without Borders Exchange Program at the University of Southern California (2015/2-2016/1), with CAPES as a fostering institution. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree at the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (PPGEE-UFMG), in the Optimization research area. He is a member of the Computer Aided Design and Optimization Research Group (GOPAC/UFMG) and the Operations Research and Complex Systems Laboratory (ORCS Lab/UFMG). He has experience in Optimization, Evolutionary Computing, Computational Electromagnetism, Inverse Problems and Microwave Imaging.
